That was my week and as I hit an emotional roadblock, I was not sure how I would move forward. How do you take something that has rocked your boat and use it to learn about life and not allow it to pull you into a pit?
For me it was reaching out to those who know "more". The wise ones in my life ; there has never been a time when the wise ones have been wrong. They listen. They speak into your life and they give a fresh perspective. You can feel the load lift off your heart and realize you can breathe again and life will be changed but it will be a new way of seeing things going forward.
Do you have a wise counsel in your life? What do you do when this happens? It is inevitable and
pain is part of life so perhaps you need to look at your circle of influence and see who you can go to if the wheels start to fall off. There have been a number of occasions in my life when really big stuff has hit the fan, and it was in those times that the wise women in my life have literally kept my head above water. I am a processor of information, I pick it apart and analyze each piece over and over but when you try and do that alone you really do not move forward.
Wisdom comes from the Holy Spirit and He can intercede in our lives through pathways that we could never have imagined. I am so incredibly thankful for those women who show me grace, mercy and understanding and I am glad that my Heavenly Father undertands pain and disappointment.
There will be more pain down the road, so I am hoping to store what I have learned from this experience. Writing down the nuggets of wisdom that have been imparted to me. I hope that today you think about your safe haven. Where will you go when life sends those gut wrenching experiences your way? Start looking for someone who understands and it might be a Life Coach because I can definitely say that this one has felt pain but I have learned that it is not my burden in life to carry it but now realize that this is why the cross is there!
